Yola – Adamawa Police Command, Saturday, said it has succeeded in detonating three bombs planted around Churches in Mubi town of the state.
The police spokesman, ASP Altine Daniel, who confirmed the development in Yola, said, however, that another bomb planted in a hotel in the town had exploded and injured a lady on the leg.
“The three bombs detected around three churches in the town were successfully detonated by our men who responded swiftly”, Altine said.
Altine who commended the people of Mubi for their vigilance, said the report they made to the police assisted greatly in detecting and detonating the bombs.
She assured that the police were on alert to contain any threat to peace in the state and urged the people to go about their normal businesses.
