JUTH FC boss, Isa Mailafiya has stated that the Jos based side will return to the Premier League after one season in Pro League.
In a release made available by its media officer, Olushola Alao said the club will repeat this feat of spending one season in Pro League as it has done before.
“I would like to assure our teeming fans and supporters that with this renewed commitment by the team and strategies put in place, we shall surely bounce back to the Premier League where we rightly belong after just a season in the National league division 1. We have done it before and I am very sure we will repeat this feat in grand style,” Mailafiya said.
He thanked the players and the technical crew for their efforts in maintaining the club’s corporate footballing integrity in not being involved in any match fixing as assumed in most quarters of the country.
“I will like to seize this opportunity to thank our players, technical crew and the management for being transparent, for maintaining our individual and corporate image and integrity in the interest of the growth of the round leather game.
I will implore other teams to emulate and imbibe this spirit in other to move Nigeria football forward. Our football is declining very fast from its enviable position especially the domestic league,” Mailafiya added.
