With 34 points, Crown Football Club of Ogbomosho are haunted by relegation and only divine miracle would see them escape the drop and as a result, they have vowed not to give up.

“It is a difficult position we have found ourselves in but nothing is impossible. We are going to fight to the last”,  spokesman, Kunle Oyeleye reflected. Interestingly, however, their management have reposed confidence in them.

“Our management has not lost faith in us. They are backing us all the way. And frankly, we have learnt a lot from the Premier league. Even if we drop, I promise you that we shall be back immediately”, Oyeleye said.

“Life is not about winning all the time and there’s no joy in failing but the greatest joy is rising each time you fall. If we eventually confirm the relegation, by God’s grace we shall bounce back immediately. It’s quite unfortunate we didn’t survive the first ever season but we are stronger and wiser and gotten familiar with the terrain.

“I must confess, the Nigerian Premier League is full of intrigues, and  tactics. Though performances and handwork cannot be over-emphasize, it is not the end of the world,” he added.
