Taking a look at the educational sector, he said without mincing words that it has become an embattled sector with the deteriorating academic performance of students.

“ Looking further at the UTME being conducted yearly, one cannot but decry the standard of academic performance of students in the country, the release of the just concluded 2011 SSCE and UTME result broke the Carmel’s back with the alarming percentage of failure(over 70% failure)” he said.

He said that as much as the Nigerian government deploys all effort to improve the educational sector, it is yet to meet with its counterparts globally.

The software, he said is a compilation of examination questions with their answers in compact discs (CDs) and online.

With the software application, he informed that students can take a demo exam on the online version or buy a study card that gives the user access for 15 exams.

Through this product, he further informed that students will be exposed to a wide range of questions (over 45,000 questions) covering the Nigerian examination curriculum in 39 subjects.

“It is indeed a sure bet for improved academic excellence. This product has a 100% chance of enhancing a student’s academic performance and delivering to students excellent grades” he assured. The subject composition of the product he said, are not limited to the following:

Senior Secondary School Junior Secondary School (UBE 7 – 9), Primary School (UBE 1- 6), accounts / book keeping , agricultural science, brain teasers, agricultural science, business studies, basic science and technology, driving , Biology, Christian Religious Knowledge, computer studies, ICT, among others.

With the UTME going electronic, BrainFriend – he informed, comes very handy for every student in preparing for this landmark adventure in the educational sector.

He assured that the product if deployed, is capable of putting a stop to examination fright failure thereby preparing students to have excellent grades in any exam.

“As a nation, we are saddled with the responsibility of improving this deteriorated standard of education. Apart from the government’s acceptance of ICT, individuals, companies (indigenous and foreign) should incorporate ICT into their daily job activities as well as contribute meaningfully to improve the standard of education of our nation” he opined.
