Former Super Eagles and ACB of Lagos winger, Friday Elaho has expressed sadness over the continuous postponement of the concluding matches of the Nigerian Premier League by its board.

Speaking to Inside Out Premier League from his base in Benin City, the former African Sports star described the situation as very discouraging and charged the NPL to properly organize its house for a better league next season.

“The NFF has so many problems they are trying to solve which has graduated into them obstructing the league in the country. On their part, the NPL has to improve on some key areas of the league in terms of organisation  in other for our league to grow the way we all want it.

“It is frustrating seeing the NPL postponing matches when we do not have any FIFA organized competition. For me, they are lacking the confidence of the people,” Elaho said.

Concerning the players in the league it self, the former Brøndby FC of Denmark star winger said, “The coaches still have a lot of work to do in terms of discovery of players that would become great stars in the future. Players that Nigerians would not easily forget, who can match any of their colleagues in the world,” Elaho added.
