*Husband escapes with burns
Asaba-Police in Asaba have confirmed that a woman and her two children were, weekend, burnt to death by fire which razed their home in Kwale, Delta State.
Police spokesman in the state, Mr. Charles Muka, yesterday, said the incident happened at about 1.15 am at 5, First Iyatu Street, Kwale.
He told newsmen that the dead woman’s husband escaped with severe burns from the fire that razed their two-room apartment. Muka said the cause of the incident had not been ascertained.
He said the fire was put out by the victim’s co-tenants and neighbours who also helped to prevent it from spreading to other apartments.
