Samsung hits market with new notebook

SAMSUNG Electronics West Africa, has announced the arrival of the series 3 350U2A notebook in the Nigerian ICT market.

The product, according to Samsung is thin and light, weighing just about 1.3kg.

In addition, its design incorporates a bezel display, so users can get all the benefits of a larger screen without having to sacrifice portability.

Samsung’s charging technology, PowerPlus, keeps up to 80% battery capacity for up to 1,000 recharges – three times longer than a typical battery that makes it more economical and environmentally friendly as fewer batteries need to be replaced.

The product’s anti-reflective display means users can enjoy outstanding image clarity and text legibility even when they are outdoors with an extensive battery life of up to 8 hours, as well as the optimized performance of an Intel core ultra low voltage processor, Windows 7 and Samsung’s unique Fast Start technology that provides an “instant on” boot-up.

“As well as boasting an extremely thin and light design, with a stylish slim bezel display and choice of vivid colors, it’s also packed with the latest mobile technology for optimized performance and ease of use on the go.

This innovative hybrid sleep mode combines the fast start-up of sleep with the stability of hibernation, to get started within a few seconds of opening the display or pressing the power button.

The product’s anti-reflective display lets you enjoy images that are fine-tuned with the sharpest details and boldest colors, even when you’re outdoors. Its matt surface has less mirror effect, so you can use it for longer without your eyes getting tired. And it’s more resistant to micro scratches.

The new series features a 4-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth V3.0 High Speed and a range of USB and HDMI ports, so users can quickly share and enjoy music, pictures, video and files from almost any modern device.

An ergonomically sized keyboard also makes typing easier, so that users can get more done and waste less time correcting errors. Its ergonomic design features isolated keys with optimized spacing for maximum comfort and is much cleaner and more hygienic as dirt cannot be trapped between the keys.
