Eric shoots number one video

Eric Arubayi is gradually fitting into celebrity status with style. He was a participant at the 2007 West African idols that heralded stars like Timi Dakolu and Omawumi Magbele. Only recently, he launched his album Redefined at a plush red carpet ceremony in Victoria Island. Now he tells Showtime that he is on location shooting the video for his hit track number one.

Prominent music video maker and director Frieezo is the man behind the camera.

Eric’s Redefined featured artiste Jeese Jagz on the track She’s crazy, South African singer Sizwe Mawaza, Phil from Germany also featured on the album.

Eric came fourth at the 2007 season of the West Africa Idols after Temitope George, Omawumi Magbele and Timi Dakolo that came third, second and first respectively.

His long spell of silence after the competition however didn’t seem to have bothered him much as his album launch pulled a massive crowd.
