DELTA State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Tuesday, submitted a list of 21 Commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly with only nine out of his 33 former Commissioners making the list .
The State House of Assembly which reconvened, today, has therefore directed the nominees to come for screening , Thursday.
The nine former Commissioners that made the new list are Chief Paulinus Akpeki, Benerd Okumagba, Dr. Joseph Otumara, Dr. Anthonia Ashiedu, Frank Omare, Prof. Hope Eghagha, Mrs. Orezi Esievo, Tony Nwaka and Richard Mofe Damijo.
Other nominees include a former ASUU Chairman , Prof. Patrick Muoboghare, Solomon Funkekeme, Charles Ajuyah (SAN) Chike Ogeah , Benard Igbakpa, Mrs. Betty Efekhoda and Gloria Okolugbo.
Also included are Kingsley Emu, Misan Kubeyinje, Ebifa Ijeoma, Patrick Ferife and Neworld Safugha.
Governor Uduaghan in a cover memo to the Assembly said ‘I will greatly appreciate if early action is taken to place the list before the honourable House for consideration and confirmation to enable me constitute the State Executive Council (exco).
