ABAKALIKI – Governor Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State, weekend assured the people of the State that completion of all ongoing projects would be his priority in the first year of the new tenure noting that it would be meaningless for him to exit from governance leaving behind a plethora of uncompleted projects.

Elechi who gave the assurance in Abakaliki during the occasion of his swearing-in for a second term in office and 2011 Democracy Day celebration in the State noted that the completion of ongoing projects would be linked to new schemes that would complement and give true meaning to all projects currently being handled by the government.

He stated that the Agricultural Development Corporation would embark upon  a large scale mechanized rice production.
