Not fewer than 26 people were , yesterday, feared dead in a fire incident resulting from a motor accident at Aduloju community along Iwo-Ojoo Road, in Ibadan.

According to eye witnesses, a tanker loaded with petroleum product , in an attempt to avoid collision with a commuter bus, veered off the road and ran into a pole, spilling its content in the process, then bursted into flame.
Vanguard gathered that the 18 passengers in the bus and 8 other road-side mechanics were burnt to death.
The incident which occured around 10:30 am also left several people injured, while a nursing mother, selling engine oil beside the road, was killed in the fire, in her bid to save her baby.
Over 20 vehicles and eight buildings were destroyed in the inferno.
