Working for your health
Of late, I have become very concerned about what I take in. It is so easy to become careless about food and drinks, yet health and disease is directly connected with what we take in by way of food and drink.
A couple of weeks back, I published a list of foods that promote good health, I hope you found that useful and are , stocking up on them. Today, in working for your healthy, I have complied a variety of tips, including juices you can make, rather than drink empty soft drinks, which promotes bloating and ill health. Prevention is better than cure
Here are some healthy tip for your smartness & physical fitness.
Carrot + Ginger + Apple — Boost and cleanse our system.
Apple + Cucumber + Celery — Prevent cancer, reduce cholesterol, and eliminate stomach upset and headache.
Tomato + Carrot + Apple — Improve skin complexion and eliminate bad breath.
Bitter gou rd + Apple + Milk — Avoid bad breath and reduce internal body heat.
Orange + Ginger + Cucumber — Improve Skin texture and moisture and reduce body heat.
Pineapple + Apple + Watermelon — To dispel excess salts, nourishes the bladder and kidney.
Apple + Cucumber + Kiwi — To improve skin complexion.
Pear & Banana — regulates sugar content.
Carrot + Apple + Pear + Mango — Clear body heat, counteracts toxicity, decreased blood pressure and fight oxidization.
Honeydew + Grape + Watermelon + Milk — Rich in vitamin C + Vitamin B2 that increase cell activity and strengthen body immunity.

Last week, I published he second part of my interview with Dr Nneka Nwaobi, where she talked about the alarming increase in childhood cancers. I asked her for early signs, so parents can seek medical help before it is too late. She sent the St SILUAN Signs, published below.

S — Seek: Medical help early for persistent symptoms.
I — Eye: White spots in the eye, new squint, blindness, bulging eyeball.
L — Lump: Abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, limb, testes, glands.
U — Unexplained: Fever, loss of weight and appetite, pallor, fatigue, easy bruising and bleeding.
A — Aching: Bones, joints, back and easy fractures.
N — Neurological: Change in behaviour, balance, gait and developmental, milestones, headache, enlarged head.
