AKURE -THE rescheduled elections into the National Assembly appears to have taken a new twist as supporters of a leading politician , are alleged to be importing armed thugs into the riverine areas of Ondo state in a bid to stop former governor Olusegun Agagu.
Agagu is seeking election to the senate to represent Ondo south senatorial districts of the state.
But the plot is not limited to Agagu, as the masterminds have equally vowed to work against the presidential ambition of President Goodluck Jonathan in the presidential election scheduled for the 16th of April
Using the rescheduled National Assembly elections as a premise, the PDP leader, who was one of frontline coordinators during the primaries , has commenced the covert recruitment of armed youths from a neighbouring state in a bid to disrupt both National Assembly and Presidential elections.
