Kano returns Kwankwanso to power

KANO-Former Defence Minister, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  has been returned to power by million of Kano electorate in a keenly contested Governorship election.

Kwankwaso, former civilian governor of the state in 1999-2003, lost his second term bid to the outgoing governor and ANPP Presidential flag-bearer, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau.
