Vote only experienced candidates – Lawmaker

By Emma Arubi

WARRI – THE Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, member representing Warri South constituency 1, in the Delta State
House of Assembly, Mrs. Omawumi Udoh,  has promised to attract more democracy dividends to the constituency,
even as she charged the electorate not to cast their votes for  new comers,  who may have nothing to offer the
people.

She also charged the people of Warri to vote enmass for Governor Uduaghan, President Goodluck Jonathan and all
PDP candidates so as not to turn Delta State into an opposition state.

She added that the Uduaghan-led administration had created opportunities for Deltans to excel in all works of
human endeavours.

According to her, giving Governor Uduaghan a second term would enable him  consolidate on the numerous projects
and programmes already on ground for the benefit of the  people of the state.

The lawmaker, spoke,  yesterday, in Warri, during the flag-off of a three-day campaign tour of the communities
and wards in her constituency in company of Senator James Manager, Mr. Daniel Reyenieju of the House of
Representatives, Denis Omovie of the state House of Assembly and other  PDP chieftains in Delta South
Senatorial district.

She remarked that Manager,  Reyenieju,  Omovie and herself had offered quality representation to the people of
the senatorial district in the past by attracting  numerous  democracy dividends to the area.

According to her, this was why they were elected by their party to continue in office, adding that it would be
dangerous for a learner to be allowed to represent the area, as the person may have nothing to offer the
people.

She promised that they will continue to enact laws that would serve the  interest of the people. She
urged the people not to be deceived by other political parties or persons as their destinies lie with the
Uduaghan-led PDP in the state.
