Coalition of 10 parties declares support for Fashola

LAGOS - AS Lagosians prepare to elect their governor in the April 16 election, a group, the Forum of Gubernatorial Candidates in Lagos, FGCL, yesterday, declared its support for the re-election of Governor Babatunde Fashola.

The forum made up of 10 political parties, namely: CPN, PRP, NPC, APS, ADC, NNPP, AA, MDJ, ND, and NAC said since Lagosians were calling for the return of Fashola, it had no option than to endorse the ambition of the Lagos State ACN  candidate.

In a statement, the forum said that the “unfolding scenario of our governor’s landmark achievements across our state has awaken us to the realistic decision of giving Governor Babatunde Fashola of the Action congress of Nigeria all the necessary encouragement and support to continue with the good work of transforming this state into an egalitarian society for all the citizens.”
