Abuja -A 32-year-old surveyor living at FHA lugbe Abuja, Taye Hassan was, yesterday, arraigned before an Abuja magistrate court for beating up his landlord, following a minor disagreement between them.
The dispute erupted after a discovery by the accused that his dog had been relocated by the landlord without his consent.
Taye was charged for assault, which contravenes section 265 of the Penal Code law.
However, he pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to him and his counsel, Mr Marthin Ihemtuge, applied for his bail, which was not opposed by the prosecuting counsel, Yilkudi Dungji.
