A 21-year-old security man has been charged before an Abuja Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing a 32 inch Plasma television and a stabilizer valued N120, 000 belonging to one Mrs. Bashirat Lawal of Wuse II, Abuja .
Shedrack Samson of Global Security, Abuja was alleged to have jointly committed the offence with one Puppy now at large.
The police arraigned him for the offences, punishable under Sections 79 and 287 of the Penal Code. The prosecutor, Mr Emmanuel Adikwu told the court that on February 11, one Mrs. Lawal reported at the Maitama police station that the accused and one Puppy now at large stole her plasma and stabilizer
According to the prosecutor, “during police investigation, it was discovered that the accused was in possession of the complainant’s apartment key.”
However, the accused pleaded not guilty when the charge were read to him and sought for bail while the prosecutor asked for an adjournment of the case.
