Nigeria’s Obinna Nsofor is rearing to increase his goals tally in the Premier League when his West Ham side play host to Liverpool on Sunday.
Nsofor, who has been making appreciative impact in the survival battle that Coach Avram Grant’s side have been battling ths term, is being counted on by his Israeli born manager to sink the Reds, as Liverpool are known.
But Nsofor and his teammates are aware that in Liverpool they face a resurgent side, capable of holding their own against any team and the homers only need to remember how the Reds claimed a famous 1-0 away win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to fully grasp the new life that Coach Kenny Daglish has brought into Liverpool.
Daglish would be counting on Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez for goals as he seeks to claim a possible Champions League ticket, at the expense of the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs.
In other games holding this weekend, Victor Anichebe’s Everton host Sunderland, Manchester United are on the road to face Wigan while another Manchester-based club, City, entertain Fulham
