WARRI—THE Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Mofe Edema has presented a budget estimate of two billion, seven hundred and eleven million, nine hundred and fifty thousand, four hundred and sixty five naira (N2,711,950,465.00) for the year 2011.
The budget which is christened budget of further consolidation is made up of one billion, one hundred and eighty seven million, one hundred and fifty thousand, four hundred and sixty five naira (N1,187,150,465.00) as recurrent expenditure, while capital expenditure will gulp one billion, five hundred and twenty four million, eight hundred thousand naira.
Making the presentation yesterday, before plenary of the council’s legislative arm, the Council Chairman, Hon. Edema explained that the 2011 estimate is to consolidate on the achievements of his administration since 2008.
