ABUJA— Conference of Registered Political Parties, CNPP, said yesterday that the BB-Minus rating of Nigerian economy by Fitch was the true reflection of the state of the nation’s economy, and blamed it on selfish policies embarked upon by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last decade.

CNPP in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, said the negative rating was the truth and nothing but the true position.

Okechukwu said: “We, therefore, view the BB-Minus negative rating as a wake-up call to duty and introspection in order to reverse the food is ready economic policy, selfishly embarked upon by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last decade.
