BON awards to break World records for longest red-carpet

Come December 12, Best of Nollywood Magazine is set to break the world records for the longest  red carpet in the world which will be 5km or 3.2miles long.

According to the publisher of the Magazine who is also the Executive producer of the awards, Mr Seun Oloketuyi, the record is real as it is Guinness Book of world records certified. Officials of the body will be on guard at the conference hotel venue of the awards.

Oloketuyi disclosed that this years awards is historic in all aspects as the Ogun government shall be the host city so the reason why conference hotel is the preferred venue.

Best of Nollywood awards will reward those who have distinguished themselves in the movie industry in the 2010 movie year.

The nominees for this year have already been released and the nominees have started asking their fans and friends to vote for them. The Best of Nollywood awards debut last year on December 6th 2009 held at Martinos hotel in Ikeja.

This years awards is tagged ‘Heaven on Earth weekend” because the awards is a full weekend package with 2000 celebrities invading the ancient town on Saturday ,

December 11,  with various activities planned for them including dinner with the 1st lady and breakfast with Awujale of Ijebu Ode.
