Following Sunday’s mishap in which 15 passengers aboard Aero flight AJ320 were injured when the airline made an emergency landing at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos, the management, yesterday, attributed the development to humidity and warm air mixing which metamorphosed into a cloud of smoke.
In a statement, Aero airline noted that the pilot of the Lagos-bound flight from Port Harcourt detected a cloud of smoke in the cabin, stressing that the pilot was able to make an emergency landing when he discovered the incident.
It affirmed that all the 84 passengers and crew on aboard the flight were safely evacuated.
