Nigeria@50: Olaiya,KSA others bag award

Notable Nigerian musicians, Dr.Victor Olaiya, King Sunny Ade, Fatai Rolling Dollar and Stan Plange of Uhuru Dance Band of Ghana are listed for honours as the nation celebrates 50years of self rule.

Tagged celebrating, the Music and Musicians of Nigeria at Independence” the award organised by Evergreen Musical Company will also honour Victor Uwaifo, S.F Olowookere, Chris Ajilo, Orlando Julius, Dele Ojo and C.K Mann of Ghana.

Speaking on the forthcoming award, Chairman of the organising company, Mr.Femi Esho said” Lagos will witness the return of tunes to mark the nation’s independence annivsesary.
