Nigeria’s Super Eagles will tackle either Japan or Iran in a friendly on November 17, officials have said
“We have opened discussions with Japan for a friendly in Tokyo on November 17 and just today (Thursday) we received another proposal from Iran through an agent to also play them on that day,” Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) head of competition, Mohammed Sanusi, said.
“We hope to soon finalise on which of these teams we will play.”
The match date is a FIFA friendly day and officials had hitherto been confident they will take on Bafana Bafana on that date before the South Africans opted to play the USA.
