Despite the ouster of Nigerian champions Heartland FC of Owerri, Nigeria’s flag is still flying in the ongoing CAF Orange Champions League competition now in its semi final stage.
The Africa soccer ruling organization has just appointed Nigeria’s Linus Mba to be Match Commissioner in the semi final first leg of the match between defending champions T. P. Mazembe of Congo ans JSK of Algeria to be held in Lubumbashi on October 3.
The FIFA referees advisor will be assisted by compatriot Paul Bassey who has been appointed as the CAF General Coordinator for that match.
