Delta State commissioner for special duties (Government House), Mr. Ochor Christopher Ochor, has concluded the first round of ward consultations in his quest to represent Ukwuani constituency in the state House of Assembly.
The consultation tour, which lasted a week, was coordinated by a steering committee headed by Chief Chris Nwajiogoli, who is also the President of Umutu Development Union.
The tour took the aspirant and his supporters to Akoku, Amai, Umukwata, Eziokpor, Umuebu, Ezionum, Ebedei, Obiaruku and his hometown, Umutu where ward leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) promised to work for the realisation of his ambition in 2011 election.
The party leaders described him as a grassroots politician who has used his position to improve the growth of the party and enhance the welfare of party members.
At the wards visited, a member of the steering committee for the consultation, Mr. Power Anuku, called for the support of party leaders and members to enable the aspirant realise his ambition.
