Being simple is classy and chic— Bunmi Ademokoya

Discovered in 2007 with the debut of Nigeria’ s Next Super Model where she emerged 2nd, and later went on to win the Best Model of the World contest in Turkey that same year, Bunmi. Ademokoya’s face composure and carriage has continued to inspire and astonish on the runway. Riding on the wheels of Isis models South Africa, Bunmi has strutted her stuff in some of the world’s prestigious fashion shows for notable designers. Recently, she was chosen to open the prestigious fashion week in South Africa, which took place during the world cup, with Paris based award winning designer Zuly Bet. Currently based in New York where she is on contract with Ikon models New York, Bunmi says the experience has been totally interesting and exciting; “it just shows that I am getting closer to my dreams and goals.” She was in the country as one of the judges for Nigeria’s Next Super Model screening held recently.

Fashion for me is when you take your unique style and create it into something which people see and emulate.
