Ecobank unveils corporate internet banking service

Ecobank has launched its Corporate Internet Banking (ECIB) services across all its branches in Nigeria . The Ecobank Corporate Internet Banking is a secure internet based service that provides corporate clients with access to online banking.

The benefits of this service ranges from enhanced speed in payment processing and access to critical account information that include account balances and transaction history of all activities on the accounts of the customer.

Access to information such as daily exchange rates for several currencies, including major trading currencies. It allows the customer view on-line, real-time exchange rates offered by the bank amongst other benefits.

It also enhances the ability of a customer to transfer funds between accounts on the internet banking platform; that is, the customers can effect payments to suppliers or employees irrespective of the bank where the beneficiary’s accounts are domiciled.

At the launch of the service in Nigeria , the bank’s Managing Director Mr. Jibril Aku said the Ecobank Corporate Internet Banking service is highly protected.

He also pointed out that Ecobank operates a 24-hour dedicated Contact Centre to ensure that clients are never stranded even after business hours.
