STI launches product campaign for Swis-f

Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc has rolled out  E GO BETTER FOR MY OGA as a product campaign geared toward enhancing awareness  for Sovereign Well-being Insurance Scheme for the Family (SWIS-F), a product of the company . The campaign is expected to drive and promote patronage for the Swis-f.

Mr. Wale Onaolapo, Managing Director of the company  said that  Swis-f  is tailor-made for artisans such as the Bricklayers, Carpenters, Hair Stylists, Chefs, Security Guards, Gardeners, Mechanics, Vulcanizers, Butchers, Chefs, Seamstresses and a whole lot of them in the informal sector.

According to him, “We expect and only hope that the success of the campaign can be measured with the number of SWIS-F policies that would have been undertaken all artisans”.
He appealed, “We are also using this medium to encourage Cooperatives and Associations to take advantage of the benefits inherent in the product for their members. As a forward-looking organisation, we will continue to strive in adding value and enhancing the everyday life of our customers with very innovative products in line with the dictates of our Mission in the Insurance Industry in Nigeria”.

The Sovereign Trust Wellbeing Insurance Scheme for the Family (SWIS-F) is a General Personal Accident, (GPA) Policy designed for the family but not limited to it. Adults between age 18 and 65 years respectively are eligible to take the cover. The cover provides indemnity for up to N500, 000.00 for both domestic and external accident that may occur in the course of our daily activities.

The benefits amongst others, include, out-of-work benefits due to accident, continuous wellbeing lump sum payment, covers medical expenses due to accident and free cover for any fourth child in a family of six.

The premium per annum for a SWIS-F cover is N1, 500.00 (One thousand, Five hundred naira only).
The product was originally launched into the market two years ago whilst the media campaign for Swis-f is predicated on the need to attract more patronage from the teeming public and to re-emphasize our commitment to the integration of Insurance into the grassroots; as a larger percentage of this community is yet to fully embrace insurance.

Onaolapo further stated, “It is our belief, that the Nigerian populace has the capacity to embrace and accept insurance with the right education and sustained awareness and that is why, we have undertaken to explore this new direction which gave birth to Swis-f.

The “E GO BETTER FOR MY OGAcampaign encourages bosses from different walks of life to add value to the lives of their domestics and subordinates alike just as they do for their immediate family members. More so, research has shown that significant populations of this particular group of people do not have any form of insurance whatsoever.

The campaign is meant to be an eye-opener for the generality of Nigerians that insurance cuts across every sector of our economy and workforce.    The product Campaign will run in Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba and Pidgin.
