Eagles Manager, Lars Lagerback, is not bothered by sour grapes hauled at him by one of his players after their exit in the World Cup but insisted that Osaze Odemwingie was not better than any other player in Eagles.
Osaze was excluded in the 2-2 match against South Korea that sent them reeling out of the World Cup and has blamed the Swede for his wrong selections that cost Nigeria qualification to the second round of the World Cup.
Osaze’s tirade was not new but surprising that he was singing another song that Amodu Shaibu would have done better after castigating Amodu after their bronze medal outing in Angola during the African Cup of Nations.
“Osaze is one of my players. He thinks he is the best player. But is not better than the other players in my fold. I am the coach and I determine who plays.”
