BirthdaysÂ areÂ usuallyÂ big deals for most people, but not for Honorable Kalejaiye Adeboye Paul, the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on rural development and Town Planning.
For him, as he clocked 50 last June, it was just another opportunity to render his unflinchingÂ service to his people, by empowering them.. His 50th birthday bash was a ceremony of sorts for charity, it was dedicated to champion empowerment of party members, donation ofÂ vehicles to Charity and less privileged homes.
He donated generously to charity homes mainly in the Ajeromi Ifelodun community, and a bus to So-Said, one of the most prominent charity home in Ajegunle. While some members of his political party; Action Congress, went home withÂ generators,Â deep freezers, and hair driers, and sewing machines.
Highpoint of the event was the launch of the Kalejaieye Adeboye Paul (KAP) Widows foundation, an organization he set up toÂ help ameliorate the plight of widows in the community.
The eventÂ which was well attended by AC party faith-fulls and a good number of members of his community, was also witnessed by AC big wigs in Lagos state. Amongst them were Cardinal James Odumbaku, leader of the Action congress, who represented governor Fashola, Dele Ajomale AC chairman of the State, Hon Adetoun Adediran AC, women leader of Lagos State, Hon Kamal Bayewu, chairman of Ajeromi Ifelodun LGA, amongst others.
