Rwandan Genocide hero, Paul Rusesabagina, will be the star guest in this weekendâ€™s edition of African Voices on CNN International, a programme sponsored by national operator, Globacom.
The 30-minute magazine show runs on Saturdays, from 12.00 to 12.30 p.m., with repeat broadcasts at 7.30 p.m. on Saturdays and at 6.00 p.m. on Sundays.
A statement by Globacom said this weekendâ€™s edition is a tribute to Rusesabagina who saved hundreds of lives during the Rwandan genocide in 1994. Over a million people reportedly died in the war.
Rusesabagina was honored for saving 1,268 refugees during the Rwandan Genocide. He was the assistant manager of the Sabena HÃ´tel des Mille Collines before he became the manager of the HÃ´tel des Diplomates, both in Kigali, Rwanda.
