The South South Northern Alliance (SSNA) has commended Elder Godsday Orubebe for the skill acquisition centres he established in Delta State and the land reclamation/shoreline protection projects in Rivers and others he had embarked upon to transform the Niger Delta.
The group described Orubebe as a tested material who performed creditably well when he was a council chairman of Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
SSNA, in a statement signed by its President, Frederick Igere and Stanley Garry, Publicity Secretary, explained that Orubebe’s facilitation of construction of new town sites and housing units at Oproaza, Ode Itsekiri, Delta State and Odi, Bayelsa State, were commendable and heartwarming.
It pointed out that the projects, when completed, would transform the economic lives of the people.
The group urged him to set up a monitoring committee that would ensure that the projects were executed to the specified standard.
