The management of Olive Estate, a real estate development firm, has received the backing of the Ogun state government on the development of their estate sites located in Ofada.
Mr Jubril Lukan, the stateâ€™s Deputy Director of Lands, urged them to continue to support the efforts of government to provide affordable housing for Nigerians. He praised them for contributing to the development of Ogun state and Nigeria at large.
â€œWe are impressed with the progress made so far by your organisation regarding the development of Ofada,â€ adding that the Ogun state government is interested in partnering with real estate firms who promote development of rural infrastructure.
Lukan, who spoke at the maiden Customer forum organized by the property firm to sensitise their subscribers on the extent of progress made on the sites and interact with key stakeholders, also assured that the firm has met all necessary documentation and regulatory requirements to develop the site.
General Manager of the firm, Mr Femi Ashamu, expressed their commitment to building world class estates for Nigerians at affordable prices. He disclosed that allocation of the Lekki property to subscribers commenced last weekend to enable owners to start building.
â€œWe have made considerable progress on the development of infrastructure such as road network, electrical installations and general development in the site,â€ he said
A director of the firm, Pastor Francis Adebayo, said that to help subscribers build conveniently, the firm has established Olive Blocks, a block making subsidiary on site to assist in speedy development. He encouraged subscribers to take advantage of new products such as Olive Plus and Olive MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities) products that have been introduced for their benefit.
