After several years of endless wait for dual Sim phone from Nokia, the company says it is now ready to launch its first Dual Sim phones in Nigeria.
Nokia West Africa General Manager, Philip De la Vega disclosed this during the official launch of the Dstv Mobile Kick-Off event inÂ partnership with Nokia and MTN Nigeria in Lagos.
Vega said the planned introduction of Nokia branded Dual Sim phone was in line with the companyâ€™s commitment to satisfying customersâ€™ quest for relevance and quality in use of mobile technology. According to him, the much expected device is still undergoing finishing touches in the factory and wouldÂ be made available inÂ Nigeria before the end of the year.
It will be recalled that Nigerians have been yearning for Dual Sim phone from NokiaÂ but the company had kept on promising to respond to the request with a brand that will meet customers desires in terms of durability and high quality.
