The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry will today engage representatives of Nigeria Police, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to dialogue on:â€œLaw Enforcement and Business Activities in Lagos State.â€
Others include representatives of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and Local Government Officials, Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) and the Vehicle Inspection Office
According to the chamber, the forum was in response to the spate of protests and complaints by the public on the activities of some law enforcement agencies in the State.
Specifically the session will focus on the activities of law enforcement agents and how these impact on businesses in the state.
These stakeholders are expected to make representations on their relationship with the Business Community in Lagos State with a view to improving on such relationships. Members of the Organised Private Sector will be on hand to engage these law enforcement agencies in dialogue.
