HEINEKEN Ikoyi Ladies Club Championship:Oyome towers above all
Ikoyi Golf section lady golfer Evelyn Oyome last week again proved beyond doubt that she is one of the hottest property in lady golf in the country. Oyome who has become synonymous with victories, added another feather to her hat last Saturday at the Ikoyi Golf club venue of the Ikoyi Ladies Championship, which was well attended.
Oyome shot 167 gross over two days to emerge 2010 Club Champion of Ikoyi Club ladies section.
The tournament sponsored by Heineken also produced other winners like Pinotsis P who finished second with 177 gross over two days. Candlish. L placed third with 184 gross.
In the net event, Van Pelt shot 159 nett over two days to emerge winner of the net event, beating Swanepoet M by three shots. The third place went to Aruwajoye with 164 nett.
Other results are Boyejo. S 31 points (Winner-guest ), Oshile. S 30 points ( Runner up guest)
Ogunbiyi. S with 92 Nett finished as best veteran–ladies. Runners up- Men went to Ebosie.E  with 30 Nett. The Best gross day 1 went to Walker. L (89 Gross), Majoroh. C with 95 gross won best gross day 2 .
Best nett day 1 went to Fahrer. D carding 79 Nett c/b, Petrie. C with 81 Nett c/b emerged winner best nett day 2.
In the men event, Omosehin. S emerged winner with 40 points, while Alli B finished second with 39 points. The third place men went to Animashaun. A with 38 points.
