England names 30-man World Cup squad

England Team Manager, Fabio Capello  has announced,  today,  the Three Lions  provisional team  in  preparation for the 2010 World Cup  in South Africa.

The list include Liverpool Jamie Carragher, who  announced his retirement from international football in 2007. Others are  Chelsea’s  Coles – Ashley and Joe Cole, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Aaron Lennon ,Theo Walcott among others.

However, Capello is expected to name his final squad for the mundial on June 1.

The full squad list: Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, David James, Robert Green; Defenders: Leighton Baines, Jamie Carragher, Ashley Cole, Michael Dawson, Rio Ferdinand, Glen Johnson, Ledley King, John Terry, Matthew Upson, Stephen Warnock; Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Tom Huddlestone, Adam Johnson, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Scott Parker, Theo Walcott, Shaun Wright-Phillips; Forwards: Darren Bent, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney.
