It would be recalled that the DSC, which was acquired from the Federal Government and is now privately operated by Global Infrastructure Nigeria Limited, GINL, has continued to receive commendation and endorsement for its product quality and best practices.
He said that DELTA QAST, the brand name for DSC’s reinforcement bars, was ideal for application in RCC structure in flyover, dams, bridges and other critical structures where high yield load (load design) is required without compromising on ductility as it conforms to International Standard BS4449.
Nwabuokei praised the Standard Organization of Nigeria, SON, for its commendation and endorsement of DSC quality products by leading construction companies amidst effects of operating environment which tend to slow down the pace of progress of most manufacturing concerns.
He argued that it was of significance that while the manufacturing industry was reeling under economic crunch, DSC was soaring with high quality products.
