The CWC Group, organisers of the annual Nigerian Oil and Gas Conference and the Ghana Oil and Gas conference has announced that the Chairman Senate committee on upstream petroleum, Senator Lee Maeba would be speaking about the recently signed Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Bill during the forthcoming Nigerian Oil and Gas (NOG) Tech conference in June.
Maeba who would be speaking on Training and Local Content in Nigeriaâ€™s onshore and offshore industry at the conference and Exhibition in Lagos was instrumental in first presenting the recently passed Nigerian Content Bill to the Senate back in 2005 and he has traveled the world to compare content development in the oil and gas industries.
This was contained in a statement issued by the organisers and signed by the Exhibition Operations & Marketing Manager for the conference, Ms Rosie Topp, which was amde available to Vanguard via E-mail.
The statement reads in part that at the NOG Tech conference the Senator will share his experience in this field, along with Ernest Nwapa, Group General Manager, Capacity Building & Local Content, NNPC.
â€œNOG Tech is a new partner event by the organizers of Nigeria Oil and Gas (NOG) which was opened by President Jonathan this February and attracts over 7000 participants annually.
