IndigenousÂ smart phone makers,Â Anabel MobileÂ has expanded its operations in northern part of the country including Kaduna and Kano.This is part of the companyâ€™sÂ commitment to extend itsÂ products and services across the nation.
While more dealers areÂ scrabblingÂ for its dealership across the nation, theÂ President andÂ Chief Executive Office of the first Nigerian smart phone maker, Mr Nicholas Okoye who spoke to newsmen shortly after the colorfulÂ road show in Kaduna last week that attracted capacity audience disclosed that by end of the current financial year, many more states across the federation would have been covered

We are committed to the Nigerian ICT market with Nigerian MADE smart phones which have the technology capacity to do what other foreign brands in the market are doingâ€ Okoye, who is very passionate about youth empowerment in ICT said.
While noting that Anabel will soon go to other states including Sokoto, Plateau, and Benue, heÂ said thatÂ Anabel has worked withÂ Fresh Kid of Gamji radio and theirÂ crew to create the awareness during Gamji Night in Kaduna recently.
â€œWith our ongoing promotion, we have been able to penetrate theÂ market in the north as many distributors are presently jostling for the Anabel smart and state_of_art technologyÂ phonesâ€ he said.
It would be recalled that Anabel before now hadÂ opened an ultra modern experienceÂ center in Abuja capital territory, underscoringÂ the commitment of the brand to give users world class products and services.
The center, located atÂ Transcorp Hilton AbujaÂ with the state_art_technology equipmentÂ is expected to support users of the Anabel devices in the Abuja capital territory and its environs.
Similar care centers, which had already been opened in LagosÂ are being planned forÂ Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu and Onitsha respectively in the current financial year.
These center, according to Okoye wouldÂ provide the warranty which the Anabel devices come with.
While expressing optimism in Nigerian made products, he assured that the ultra modern experience center can take care ofÂ any manufacturerâ€s defects that may arise. â€œAnabel mobile has come to stay. We are committed to our customers. Our customers are very important to usâ€ Okoye who is very passionate about capacity building said.
The centers, Okoye said,Â will also serve as a point of contact for replacement parts for loyal Anabel customersÂ . Anabel is the first Device Manufacturer to subject itself to the NCC certification process which means it carries the NCC stamp on all its products and its devices alsoÂ sports SONCAP certification. As a truly Nigerian Brand its phone boxes come with the â€œGood People Great Nationâ€ logo on it.
â€œThe Anabel CARE CentersÂ has diagnostic capabilities and can detect problems to any Anabel device once it has been assessed by modern tools.
â€œ The ultramodern center will serve as a first line of support for Anabelâ€s entire range of devices such as its Smart Phones and hand held PCs, its digital media devices and its very popular Effizzy dual sim phoneâ€Â he explained.
It would be recalled that Anabel Mobile has been identified as one of the trail blazers in this direction having launched the first Nigerian mobile phone and first Nigerian hand held computer or Smart phone that runs on windows mobile operating system by Microsoft.
