The possibility of Super Eagles technical adviser, Lars Lagerback building a solid team for the World Cup has continued to raise a lot of concerns among Nigerians owing to the short time left for the event but not with former scribe of the NFA, Alhaji Sani Toro who says time and quality preparation will not pose problems for the Swede.
Toro was reacting to the 44-man list released last weekend by the former Sweden national coach.
According to him, Lagerback has enough time on his hands to build a good team who are capable of representing Nigeria at the World Cup.
“The issue of time is not important any longer especially now that the competition is around the corner. What is important are the materials that he has for the competition. The invited players are Nigeria’s best players, whatever time left for the competition he should be able to use itâ€, he said.
Toro added that the list of 44 players as released by Lagerback is not bad, stating that it will create avenue for players to fight for shirts in the team.
