The Chairman of ZoomMobile, Nigeriaâ€™s frontline indigenous telecommunications services provider, Sir Annie OkonkwoÂ has been confirmed as the Chairperson for the 2010 Broadband forum organized byÂ Titans of Tech.
Titans of Tech, organized by Technology Africa, leading information communications technology (ICT) content provider, is considered by many West Africaâ€™s biggest technology and networking conference, exhibition and awards.
The 2010 edition tagged â€œTitans of Tech festival of ideasâ€ with the theme â€œHarnessing ICTs for National Developmentâ€ is scheduled to hold in Lagos from April 14 to 16, 2010 at the Lagoon Restaurant, Victoria Island.
Sir Okonkwo is a Harvard trained businessperson, a certified marketing guru, a dedicated community man and politician. He is a visionary and highly focused person, a trait he shares with visionaries like Bill Gates. He is a recipient of many local and international awards including Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Award for Excellence in Enterprise [WAIM], National Productivity Order of Merit Award [NPOM], EMRC Euro Market Brussels Leadership Award in Recognition of exemplary leadership by Leadership Watch.Others include International Business Leadership Award by News Agency of Nigeria and Eminent Persons Hall of Fame Awards by Nigeria Newsworld Fame Achievers Award. Reliance Telecomm Limited under his distinguished leadership has won several awards including the West African Direct Marketing Award as recently as 2006.
