Samsung Electronics Co. has launched the Samsung Mobile Live programme – an experiential road show aimed at creating a new customer experience for its mobile phone users.
The initiative which commenced in Lagos at the Silverbird Galleria will hold subsequently at the Ecentre, Yaba and in Abuja.
Director/Head, Mobile Phones, Samsung, Mr. Peter Lee said at a press briefing during the launch that â€œMobile Live is an infotainment experience unlike any seen in the country. It is a new way to get in touch with the customer. â€œWe offer free download for ringtones, music, mobile applications, animations, games, mobile software and mobile hemes. The ultimate aim is to create a mobile for every lifestyle .We want to get more phones into the hands of more consumers through the Samsung Mobile Live experience.â€
The event will take place in specially constructed booths with interactive multimedia screens, live phones and games consoles.
Lee also urged the public to seize the opportunity to try out the live phones in order to get a hands-on experience on a Samsung phone. There is also a life size interaction phone model to enhance the customers experience.
At the Silverbird Galleria, phone enthusiasts besieged the venue, fiddling with some of the companyâ€™s latest phones which are internet ready.
The highlight of the road show is the display ofÂ Samsungâ€™s range of messaging phones including the 18000, B7320, Corby S3653, B3410, Corby Txt B3210 and Corby Pop C3510 models which areÂ designed to make texting fun and easy.
