In a bid to reach out to more audience within and outside the country, the Nigerian Television Fashion Show (NTFS) produced by Nollywood Worldwide Entertainment, has set up plans to take the fashion industry to the next level; the, this general Manger Nollywood Worldwide Entertainment, Mr. Kolawole Akintoba disclosed recently during a press conference held at Federal Palace Hotel recently.
According to him, â€œsince the inception of the show five years ago, the NFS has not onlyÂ celebrated the creative ability of Nigerian and African designers through the use of local fabrics but has also created a platform for young and budding designers to come on stage by projecting them to the worldâ€.
â€œBeginning from tomorrow the 18th of April, 2010, the Nigeria Television Fashion show will witness a rebirth, as it becomes the Nigeria Television fashion Show- reloadedâ€ he added.Â The first edition of the new NTFS reloaded, will be held at the external ball room of Federal Palace and would feature a handful of accomplished Nigerian designers like: Nobel Afrik, Regalia, Frank Oshodi,Â Â Â Remi Lagos, Modela Couture, Rave Plus, Beulah Ethnic and Trends, Azaam Couture, Anjoreen Couture and Ibile Vogue.
The event, which has been repackaged to meet international standards, apart from parading renowned designers, it will also feature upcoming designers; there by exposing and celebrating their creativity
