The Isoko Solidarity Forum has called on the Acting President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, to consider Isoko for a ministerial slot.
In a statement signed by President of the group, Ezekiel Ebase and Secretary, Raphael Enegwero, the group noted that Isoko people have been neglected in ministerial appointments in spite of their immense contributions to the development of the nation.

The group pointed out that since the creation of Delta State in 1991, no Isoko person had been given a ministerial appointment .

It lauded the landmark achievements of the acting president as a father, a “leader, and a symbol of peace and unity.”
