Fayrouz has rewarded winners of the Miss NYSC Beauty Contest at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) NYSC Orientation camp.
Mrs Mary Egwuatu,The FCT Camp Director who presented the prize to the winner at the Kubwa Orientation camp on behalf of Mrs Ifeoma Dazie, Marketing Manager, Non_Alcoholic, Nigerian Breweries Plc, commended the management of NB for identifying with the principles upon which the NYSC scheme was established over forty years ago.
According to the Marketing Manager, Non_alcoholic, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Mrs. Ifeoma Dozie, Fayrouz is an unconventional refreshing blend of great tasting golden malt, natural tasting fruit flavor and foam that leave you with a smooth bitter_sweet aftertaste.
Speaking on the product, Fayrouz, she puts it thus: â€œUnique malt ingredient, full bodied, pleasant taste with a soothing subtle maltiness on the finish (mouth and throat), adding, â€˜â€™ Fayrouz contains no artificial colours, additives or preservativesâ€™â€
She pointed out that through Fayrouz; NB has been able to encourage the Nigerian youths to foster unity amongst one another to achieve national development. â€œThe essence of the scheme is for young Nigerians from different parts of the country to come together to know one another better for the development of the country; and that is exactly what Fayrouz has been able to achieve here,â€ she posited.
Lilian Oge, Miss NYSC FCT, Abuja disclosed that it was her first experience in any beauty contest. She said she received maximum encouragement from her parents and friends. According to her, â€œIt was an experience I can never forget in my lifeâ€. She however, commended Fayrouz for the wonderful gift items given to her and her fellow contestants.
She particularly commended Fayrouz for making the camp a worth_while experience through creation of a fun_filled environment.
Bin Rinret who emerged second runner_up on her part disclosed that she never expected to be amongst the first three, adding that she was excited when she clinched the third position in the beauty contest. She pointed out that Fayrouz added colours to the NYSC Orientation at the camp, stressing that other companies should emulate Nigerian Breweries Plc in identifying with programmes and projects that would enhance youth development.
First prize of Compaq Laptop Computer was won by the winner of the contest in Abuja. A 21′ inch TV set went to the first runner_up while a DVD Player was clinched by second runner_up.
Basil Amaechi won the Fayrouz Mr Macho competition while Ayo Akanni and Igwe Arinse emerged first and second runners_up respectively; carting home prizes ranging from 21 inch flat screen and Samsung refrigerator.
Various consolatory prizes were also given out to other contestants by the premium non_alcoholic soft drink.
