Global leader in critical power and cooling services, APC by Schneider Electric has introduced into the Nigeria market a swap center to provide warranty services.
With this development, Nigerian businesses needing field support service on three phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), or wanting to find out more on how to properly size and maintain UPS batteries or needing local warranty service on single phase machines, including APC by Schneider Electric’s Back_UPS and Smart_UPS single phase solutions, would now do it through APC by Schneider Electric’s Nigerian swap centre.
Launched at the end of last year, the local swap centre, according to the APC by Schneider provides warranty support on single phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPSes) as well as assisting Nigerian customers with onsite support related to three phase solutions.
“The main goal of the swap centre is to offer quicker response times and a higher level of service for warranty exchanges of single phase UPS units for local customers, as well as ensuring that three phase equipment receives the proper maintenance for optimal performance,†says Olivier Delepine, sales and operations services manager for Africa at APC by Schneider Electric.|
The Nigerian swap centre is based within the Schneider Electric warehouse in Lagos. Customers will be able to access swap centre services after obtaining an approval number from the customer care centre based in Dubai, which can be reached on 0861 272 877.
