LAGOS — ORGANISED labour under the umbrella of Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria, RATTAWU, has called on the Acting President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, to reinstate Professor Dora Akunyili as Information and Communications Minister
President of RATTAWU, Comrade Yemisi Gbamgbose, urged the Acting President to avoid sentiments but be concerned with sincerely moving Nigeria forward by ensuring that men and women with proven track records and ready to work efficiently and productively towards taking Nigeria to the next level are appointed as ministers.
Addressing journalists in Lagos, Gbamgbose argued that some former ministers obviously deserved to be reinstated going by their performances and antecedents.
He said: “Honestly speaking, Prof. Akunyili performed excellently well as Information and Communications Minister judging by her passion to give Nigeria a good name in the comity of nations of the world.
